There are a number of ways you can join the ministry of Sumter Pregnancy Center and we appreciate your interest. We couldn’t provide all that we do without you.
Sumter Pregnancy Center appreciates volunteers who feel called to our ministry! Volunteer opportunities are sporadic so check back with us often.

Fundraising Event Support
Fundraising helps us provide our much-needed free services to the residents of Sumter and surrounding areas. If you would like to get involved with our fundraisers throughout the year, including our Baby Bottle Boomerang, please contact the center at 803-773-8858 or email us at: office@sumterpregnancycenter.com.
Church Liaison
Our church community is vital to our success! Coordinate church-based fundraising activities, host diaper drives, and collect materials for moms graduating from our parenting classes. Be the liaison for your church and keep everyone informed!
Mail Projects
Volunteers are needed to help with direct mailings, such as stuffing, sealing, and sorting envelopes. This is an occasional need, approximately three to four times a year.
Prayer Team
Pray for clients and the specific needs of the pregnancy center. More than anything else, we rely on the prayers of faithful supporters like you. (NOTE: requires an email address as prayer requests are shared electronically).
Mom Self-Care Bags
Volunteers supply and create gift bags for our moms. Something specifically for mom, such as a bag filled with items to pamper herself. (i.e., lotion, facial masks, back scratcher, cocoa butter, foot scrub, nail polish and files, lip balm, chocolate, or anything to pamper mom safely during a pregnancy).
Refresh Pinestraw
Several times a year it is nice to see the pinestraw up front refreshed so our entrance is attractive. Simply call the office and let us know your interest and we can give you information on about how many bales are needed.
